Cape Town International Jazz Festival in March 2012
The Cape Town International Jazz Festival has grown into a hugely successful international event since its inception in the year 2000. With 34.000 visitors in 2010 it is one of the most important Jazz Festivals in the world. Its winning formula of bringing more than 40 international and local artists to perform over two days on five stages has earned it the status of being the most prestigious event on the African continent.

Knysna Oyster Festival in July 2012
The 28th annual Pick ‘n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival on the Garden Route is always a highlight! Whether you are sports orientated, an adventure seeker or a gourmet guru, the festival is bound to offer what you are looking for and some besides. The more than 70 sport and lifestyle events (incl. cycle race and marathons) on the programme are complemented with live music and entertainment of almost every kind.

Volvo Ocean Race back in Cape Town 2011
The legendary Volvo Ocean Race, one of the Top-Sailing-Events, takes place again in 2011-2012. The first racing yachts will arrive in Cape Town at the end of November 2011. Cape Town will be the second stop for this around-the-world sailing trip. The highlights will be the in-port-races on the 9th and 10th December 2011 and the start of the second leg, when the yachts set sail for Abu Dhabi on the 11th December.
